I’m Mat Shaffer.
My own struggle with devastating worthiness issues nearly cost me my life…
I would regularly give my heart to wounded, emotionally-unavailable women because I wanted to “fix them” to validate myself… needless to say, I got my heart broken often and hard.
I placed my full value and identity as a man in my dysfunctional relationships and poor career decisions.
In dating, I would regularly sabotage potentially good relationships that I didn’t actually feel worthy of.
I spent 10 years chasing “success” and getting into a quarter-million dollars of debt with careers as an attorney and restaurant owner that I deeply disliked.
It wasn’t until I nearly lost my life from drug use (medicating my personal pain) that I committed to inner work and personal development to learn WHY I was so unhappy… and hopefully discover something deeper to strive for with my life.
One powerful step at a time, I learned the processes and tools necessary to heal and liberate myself from limitations I had created for myself – and it worked!
The pain and fear receded, and I realized I had a profound purpose to serve in this world – to share this magic with as many humans as I possibly can!
Since then,
I’ve built a multi-million-dollar coaching business from the ground up.
